Swazi Mo­bile dis­closed that net­work cov­er­age is al­most coun­try-wide af­ter the iden­ti­fi­ca­tion and erec­tion of tow­ers for boost­ing net­work cov­er­age.

The com­pany dis­closed that some ar­eas where tow­ers have been con- structed a wait power con­nec­tiv­ity with Swazi­land Elec­tric­ity Com­pany (SEC).

“Net­work Cov­er­age will be at 77 per cent by the end of Novem­ber as we have cov­ered 64 per cent at the mo­ment with new tow­ers be­ing in­stalled around the coun­try and at­tain­ing 77 per cent will be vi­able,” the Mac­ford Sibandze said. He also dis­closed that they were shar­ing tower in­fras­truc­ture with Swazi­land Post and Telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions Cor­po­ra­tion (SPTC) and Swazi­land

Elec­tric­ity Com­pany (SEC).

A Swazi Mo­bile En­gi­neer con­fided that the bulk of their in­fras­truc­ture was on Swazi Na­tion Land where they fol­lowed pro­ce­dure of kukhonta.

On ti­tle deed land, he said they have been sub­jected to lease agree­ments for all their in­fras­truc­ture.
