Res­i­dents of Hluthi were so ex­cited to see to the prime min­is­ter dur­ing the lobola cer­e­mony as they kept on tak­ing pic­tures of him and his fi­ancée, Gugu Sime­lane.

When the prime min­is­ter, his brideto-be and the two fam­i­lies went out to in­spect the lobola cat­tle, res­i­dents who were in at­ten­dance started ul­u­lat­ing. Dlamini greeted them and re­ferred to the as “bosi­bali”( in-laws) and they re­sponded with var­i­ous ap­pre­cia­tive noises and ex­cite­ment. Dlamini and his bride walked handin-hand, much to the ad­mi­ra­tion of on-lookers.

Throngs of peo­ple started tak­ing pic­tures of the prime min­is­ter and his fi­ancée while the cou­ple oc­ca­sion­ally posed for them.
