The Prin­ci­pal Sec­re­tary at the Min­istry of Pub­lic Works and Trans­port Makhosini Mn­dawe blames road un­wor­thy ve­hi­cles and driv­ers be­hav­iour f or t he f r equently Malag­wane ac­ci­dents.

PS Mn­dawe said the pro­posed traf­fic reg­u­la­tions would help lessen the num­ber of ac­ci­dents at Malag­wane Hill. The traf­fic reg­u­la­tions are still de­bated in Par­lia­ment and he hoped they would even­tu­ally be passed to be a law.

If they would be passed, the traf­fic reg­u­la­tions would also come with in­creased traf­fic fines like, a fine for an un­li­censed driver would now be E2 000. Driv­ers
