Public assassination was intentional, bets made

Sunday Observer - - NEWS -

It seems there were bets to the effect that the hitmen would not be able to carry out their mission of killing Victor Gamedze and some people made good money whereas some lost.

This is according to sources who, not only confirmed that about six people who witnessed the execution were aware of the looming shooting, but that after failure to murder him at the Somhlolo National Stadium was obvious, a convoy of vehicles tailed him to the filling station and occupants sat with bated breath.

They alleged that some of the people who have turned around and are allegedly giving information to the police were also party to this as they were part of the convoy.
