TUCOSWA to give new ministers support

Sunday Observer - - NEWS -

Trade Union Congress of Swaziland (TUCOSWA) Secretary General Mduduzi Gina said there was nothing much to say about the new ministers at the moment.

However, he voiced out his shock at Finance Minister Neal Rijkenberg’s statement during Sibaya, where he said salaries should be frozen.

Gina said what was worrying was that Rijkenberg was now the minister of finance. He suspects that the minister might fail to give proper advice regarding the current situation about COLA.

“Otherwise, as TUCOSWA we wish them all the best.

There is nothing much that we can say because most of them are new to their positions. Therefore, we cannot judge them now,” Gina said.

He added that TUCOSWA would give the Cabinet all the needed support so as to make their work smooth.
