Baby dumped at Madonsa

A six-month-old baby girl was found aban­doned in Madonsa.

Ac­cord­ing to sources, the baby was found road­side at Madonsa at about noon yes­ter­day.

The baby was dis­cov­ered by a passer-by who was us­ing the Madonsa street to town.

“She took the baby to the Manzini Po­lice Sta­tion after which the baby was taken to RFM Hos­pi­tal,” said the source. She is cur­rently be­ing kept at the chil­drens ward. Chief Po­lice In­for­ma­tion and Com­mu­ni­ca­tion Of­fi­cer, Su­per­in­ten­dent Khu­lani Mamba con­firmed the mat­ter.

“The baby was found next to the road at Madonsa Ex­ten­sion 6 by a passer-by,” he said.

He re­quested any­one who might have in­for­ma­tion that may lead to the par­ents or rel­a­tive of the child to come forth.
