I have too many loans – defaulting father

Swazi Observer - - NATIONAL NEWS - By Phesheya Kunene

A defaulting father approached the court in anger as he said a garnishee order was issued without his knowledge.

He told the court that he wanted it removed since he was in debts and would then arrange on how to contribute on monthly basis.

Ntokozo Zwane said he was going through a rough phase due to the loans he put himself into.

“A lot of money is being deducted from my salary and the garnishee order is making things worse for me,” he said.

He pleaded with the court to be given a second chance as the order was complicating things for him.

He said he would be able to fork out E400 instead of the E800 being deducted. This is because he had other children he was supporting.

The court postponed the matter and asked him to come back with birth certificates of the other children.
