ENACTUS Swazi­land ad­vances to World Cup semi-fi­nals

THE ENACTUS Swazi­land team, Gwamile VOCTIM, has ad­vanced to the World Cup fi­nals.

To qual­ify for the next round, the lo­cal team beat Rus­sia and France dur­ing the open­ing round of the on­go­ing com­pe­ti­tion in Lon­don in the United King­dom.

This means that the lo­cal team has made it to the top 16 teams out of 35 coun­tries who are par­tic­i­pat­ing in the com­pe­ti­tion.

ENACTUS VOCTIM ad­vanced to the next round with Kry­gyzs­tan.

Yes­ter­day, the coun­try faced Kry­gyzs­tan, Gu­atemala and Tu­nisia in the semi-fi­nal round.

There are four leagues in this round with four teams each and only one team will ad­vance to the fi­nal round.

“We are ec­static as Swazi­land at the mile­stone that the stu­dents have made. Stu­dent de­vel­op­ment is one of the core ob­jec­tives of ENACTUS and as spon­sors such de­vel­op­ments make is proud. We ap­pre­ci­ate all our spon­sors who made this pos­si­ble," said ENACTUS Board Chair­per­son Fik­ile Nkosi.

“Right now we so ex­cited and we thank God who has brought us this far. We look for­ward to the semi-fi­nal round we will present our project to the judges. We are con­fi­dent we will ad­vance to the next round,” said ENACTUS VOCTIM Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer Phinda Dube.
