ENACTUS Swaziland advances to World Cup semi-finals
THE ENACTUS Swaziland team, Gwamile VOCTIM, has advanced to the World Cup finals.
To qualify for the next round, the local team beat Russia and France during the opening round of the ongoing competition in London in the United Kingdom.
This means that the local team has made it to the top 16 teams out of 35 countries who are participating in the competition.
ENACTUS VOCTIM advanced to the next round with Krygyzstan.
Yesterday, the country faced Krygyzstan, Guatemala and Tunisia in the semi-final round.
There are four leagues in this round with four teams each and only one team will advance to the final round.
“We are ecstatic as Swaziland at the milestone that the students have made. Student development is one of the core objectives of ENACTUS and as sponsors such developments make is proud. We appreciate all our sponsors who made this possible," said ENACTUS Board Chairperson Fikile Nkosi.
“Right now we so excited and we thank God who has brought us this far. We look forward to the semi-final round we will present our project to the judges. We are confident we will advance to the next round,” said ENACTUS VOCTIM Chief Executive Officer Phinda Dube.
