Light the Way

Over the last few years, Hermès has been quietly rounding out its home collection, moving from sofas and armchairs to rugs, and then from Les Nécessaires—valet stands and occasional tables—to the latest offering, a selection of elegantly simple lighting options. Illumination expert Michele De Lucchi created two lighting collections, the Pantographe and the Harnais, which both feature graceful shapes housed in steel and leather. De Lucchi’s designs also feature thoughtful little surprises, such as bull calf trinket trays, double dimmers and wires hidden in leather casing. Also in the collection is Yann Kersalé’s Lanterne d’Hermès.
