U.S. green­back closes down at NT$31.152 on Taipei’s forex

The U.S. dollar fell against the Tai­wan dollar Tues­day, shed­ding NT$0.151 to close at NT$31.152.

Turnover to­taled US$1.016 bil­lion dur­ing the trad­ing ses­sion.

The green­back opened at NT$ 31.303 and moved be­tween NT$31.309 and NT$31.976 be­fore the close. bil­lion — was made in the pro­cess­ing and man­u­fac­tur­ing sec­tors. An­other US$1.69 bil­lion has been in­vested in the real es­tate sec­tor, and US$1.5 bil­lion has been in­jected into the con­struc­tion sec­tor.

By re­gion, US$10.2 bil­lion of the in­vest­ment has been in Ha Tinh prov­ince, US$4.8 bil­lion has been put into Dong Nai prov­ince and US$2.6 bil­lion has been in­vested in Binh Duong prov­ince. he has founded an­other busi­ness em­pire, which in­cludes the paraxy­lene pro­duc­tion com­plex.

The statue of lim­i­ta­tion for legal re­course against Chen will ex­pire next year.
