Wu Ching-kuo is elected vice pres­i­dent of ASOIF

Tai­wan’s Wu Ching-kuo, an ex­ec­u­tive mem­ber of the In­ter­na­tional Olympic Com­mit­tee (IOC) and pres­i­dent of the In­ter­na­tional Boxing As­so­ci­a­tion (AIBA), was elected vice pres­i­dent of the As­so­ci­a­tion of Sum­mer Olympic In­ter­na­tional Fed­er­a­tions (ASOIF) in Sochi, Rus­sia Wed­nes­day.

Wu re­ceived votes from all 28 of ASOIF’s mem­ber fed­er­a­tions, whose del­e­gates re-elected Pa­trick Bau­mann as pres­i­dent, and Le­an­dro Ne­gre, pres­i­dent of the In­ter­na­tional Hockey Fed­er­a­tion; and Jose Perurena, pres­i­dent of the In­ter­na­tional Ca­noe Fed­er­a­tion, as the two new coun­cil mem­bers.
