Da- Yeh University ( ) in Changhua County held a ceremony on June 1 to inaugurate new bus networks, for which the university won a Golden Safety Award. Changhua County Councilor Chen Jin-zhe stated that the university has made many efforts to increase student safety. Other participants included Changhua County Councilor Chen Chin-cher and Legislator Wang Hui- mei. The university is one of the first educational institutions to initiate the bus project supported by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC).

Da-Yeh has been applying for the MOTC project that links area bus networks to the university campus since 2012. From now on, Chang-Hua Bus and Yuan Lin Bus will set up bus stations across campus. The network of public transportation at Da-Yeh University has been upgraded to include six routes with a total of 140 stops at the school per day, providing Da-Yeh students with an easier and safer choice.

In addition, the university has created a smartphone app allowing teachers and students to immediately obtain vehicle arrival time, traffic information and timetable inquiries, providing a future model for schools everywhere. This project has not only made life more convenient for students, but also local area residents. Senior citizens, for example, can take public transportation that ensures their safety.
