Nan­hua Uni­ver­sity cel­e­brates cul­tural di­ver­sity

The Nan­hua Uni­ver­sity ( ) re­cently or­ga­nized a two-day “In­ter­na­tional Arts & Cul­tures Fes­ti­val,” fea­tur­ing the food, art and tra­di­tions of in­ter­na­tional stu­dents from all over the globe.

Dur­ing the event, stu­dents from coun­tries such as Malaysia, In­done­sia, Ja­pan and Mon­go­lia pre­sented the beau­ties of their cul­tures while wear­ing tra­di­tional cloth­ing. In rep­re­sent­ing Tai­wan, the uni­ver­sity in­vited two Lion Dances to open the event.

The uni­ver­sity said in cel­e­bra­tion and recog­ni­tion of di­ver­sity, the school has ac­tively ex­panded its ex­change pro­gram in re­cent years, so that Tai­wanese stu­dents may also have the op­por­tu­nity to ex­pand their hori­zons while study­ing abroad.

Aside from the two-day event, the uni­ver­sity also or­ga­nized ed­u­ca­tional lec­tures tai­lored to­ward in­ter­na­tional and lo­cal stu­dents alike.
