Seafood fans now have a new place to devour the fresh tastes of the ocean. Ev­ery Tues­day night in June, Café at Far Eastern (6F) at Shangri-La’s Far Eastern Plaza Ho­tel, Taipei (遠東Café香格里拉台北遠東國際大飯店) presents a seafood par­adise with I “See Food” pro­mo­tion. For only NT$1,990 plus a 10-per­cent ser­vice charge per per­son, you can en­joy seafood dishes cooked with top-qual­ity in­gre­di­ents in Chi­nese, Ja­panese, Euro­pean, and In­dian styles, in­clud­ing whole salmon in salt crust, which locks in the sweet­ness of the fish in tea aroma af­ter be­ing baked with tea leaves for an hour. In ad­di­tion to the mouth­wa­ter­ing dishes, the chefs also present guests a spec­tac­u­lar cooking show at the open kitchen that tempts ev­ery­one’s ap­petite with de­li­cious smells and the sharp sound of fry­ing.
