7-Michelin-star Italian chef invited to lecture in ROC
Dayeh University’s ( ) Department of Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management recently invited Armando Palmieri, a seven-Michelin-starred patissier from Italy to teach students about bakery, pastry and delicacies.
Palmieri, renowned as the top patissier in Alma, an international educational and training center for Italian cuisine, visited Dayeh University earlier this June, showing how desserts can be made delicious and healthy at the same time. He also demonstrated how one same dessert can be served and eaten differently by various cultures.
According to the school’s staff, a bakery program has been set up this semester and the school will continue to invite Palmieri for short lectures in the future.
