International gathering to combat climate change held today organized by IPCC
Climate change is upon us, and in order to combat it, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has proposed countries worldwide develop a trithemed strategy based on technology, economic potential and socio-system change.
The 2015 International Partnership Conference on Carbon Reduction Strategies; Low-carbon Technologies Adoption held today is the Environmental Protection Administration’s ( ) response to the IPCC’s call to arms. It will mainly feature talks on international cooperation and developing low-carbon technology
The conference, held at National Taiwan University’s Tsai Lecture Hall ( ), will see a gathering of representatives from the U.S., Germany, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, and Vietnam, international organization experts from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the Global Carbon Capture and Storage Institute (GCCSI).
