FOOD Taipei 2015: Asia’s most complete food show
FOOD Taipei (Taipei Int’l Food Show), one of the most comprehensive food expos in Asia, kicks off today.
Thousands of firms have signed up to showcase their products, or look for opportunities to leverage Taiwan’s massive scale and selection of produce and marine products (fresh, dried, frozen and processed) that are shipped to the markets of Japan, Europe and the U.S.
The four-day expo aims to offer a comprehensive industry perspective on a rare 5-in-1 show — Food Taipei, FoodTech & PharmaTech Taipei, Taipei Pack, Taiwan Horeca and Halal Taiwan. — that joins every facet of food going to or coming from abroad.
A total of 1,642 exhibitors are using 3,920 booths to form a mas- sive one-stop-procurement hub that stretches across the Nangang Exhibition Hall and TWTC Hall 1.
Adding a global touch are the 36 country pavilions with 600 booths to display their best products. New nations signing up include Germany, Poland, Paraguay, the Netherlands and Bosnia and Herzegovina. As you stroll around the showground, get set to take in the aroma of spicy Thailand, savor the delectable kimchi and snacks from South Korea and sip your way through flavorful whites and reds from Germany and Belgium.
FOOD Taipei, a leading platform for marketing, is organized by TAITRA (the Taiwan External Trade Development Council) and unfolds at both the Nangang Exhibition Hall and the TWTC Exhibition Hall 1 from June 24 to 27.
