New wel­fare poli­cies set up for Taoyuan cit­i­zens

Taoyuan City has news for fam­i­lies — the city gov­ern­ment has launched a se­ries of wel­fare poli­cies to lessen the bur­den on fam­i­lies and the el­derly, and to cre­ate a more lov­ing en­vi­ron­ment.

For ex­pect­ing par­ents, they can re­ceive a child­birth sub­sidy of NT$30,000 for each child, and NT$3,000 in monthly child-rear­ing aid. For the el­derly, se­nior cit­i­zens aged 65 and above are el­i­gi­ble for health in­sur­ance sup­port.
