‘CNA Newsworld’ praised as good magazine by MOC
The monthly journal CNA Newsworld published by the Taipei-based Central News Agency (CNA), was selected by the Ministry of Culture Friday as a “good magazine” for elementary and middle school students.
The Chinese-language journal was awarded in the ministry’s annual selection of good extracurricular reading materials for school students around Taiwan. It is the only magazine awarded for its international news reports.
More than 20 senior journalists stationed overseas are employed to cover important news worldwide from an independent point of view, CNA said, adding that the magazine is designed to widen readers’ worldviews.
The magazine’s target readers are senior high school students and above, according to Taiwan’s national news agency.
