2015 Fubon LPGA Tai­wan Cham­pi­onship to un­fold Oct. 22-25 at Mi­ra­mar Golf Coun­try Club

On Aug. 3, Fubon Fi­nan­cial Hold­ings (富邦金控) an­nounced that it has un­der­taken be­com­ing the ti­tle spon­sor for Tai­wan’s lead­ing women’s pro­fes­sional golf­ing event — 2015 Fubon LPGA Tai­wan Cham­pi­onship (臺灣最高規格職業女子高爾夫賽事) for the sec­ond con­sec­u­tive year. The event will un­fold Oct. 22-25 at the Mi­ra­mar Golf Coun­try Club with no cut af­ter the first two rounds, and will be co-sanc­tioned by both the LPGA and TLPGA.

Richard Tsai, vice chair­man of Fubon Fi­nan­cial Hold­ings, re­marked that Fubon is one of the most ar­dent sup­port­ers of sports in cor­po­rate Tai­wan. So Fubon con­tin­ues to be com­mit­ted to cul­ti­vat­ing young golfers, which is why it be­came the ti­tle spon­sor for the sec­ond straight year.
