Tai­wanese air­lines al­ter flight sched­ules as typhoon ar­rives

Tai­wan- based air­lines on Fri­day an­nounced flight ad­just­ments for Satur­day due to Typhoon Soude­lor.

China Air­lines said all its flights de­part­ing and ar­riv­ing be­fore 6 p. m. Satur­day will be de­layed un­til af­ter 6 p. m., with­out pro­vid­ing a re­vised sched­ule.

The air­line will can­cel some of its flights as well, in­clud­ing CI701, CI702, CI190, CI781, CI782, CI188, CI189, CI549, CI550, CI220 and CI201.

Man­darin Air­lines said it will call off all do­mes­tic flights, and the fol­low­ing over­seas flights AE1819, AE1820, AE1821, AE1822, AE1831, AE282, AE283, AE1857, AE963 and AE 964.

Uni Air said it will can­cel all its do­mes­tic ser­vices on Satur­day, while its in­ter­na­tional flights will op­er­ate as usual.

TransA­sia Air­ways said it will can­cel all its do­mes­tic ser­vices and some cross- strait and in­ter­na­tional flights.

The over­seas flights to be can­celed are GE365, GE351, GE602, GE682, GE681, GE346 and GE345.

Some TransA­sia flights will be de­layed as well, in­clud­ing flights GE311, GE312, GE319, GE320, GE605, GE606, GE670, GE671, GE3605, GE3606, GE3161, GE3162, GE3685 and GE3686.

EVA Air­ways said its flight sched­ule on Satur­day will re­main the same.

Ac­cord­ing to the Tai­wan Taoyuan In­ter­na­tional Air­port, the coun­try’s main gate­way, as of 5 p. m. Fri­day, 55 flights were can­celed, in­clud­ing 16 out­bound

and 39 in­bound flights.

Bud­get Air­lines Flight Sched­ule

Tai­wan-based low cost car­ri­ers Tig­erair Tai­wan and V Air on Fri­day an­nounced changes to their flight sched­ules for Satur­day due to the ar­rival of Typhoon Soude­lor.

Tig­erair Tai­wan said it has can­celed three flights: IT284 from Kaoh­si­ung to Osaka, IT285 from Osaka to Kaoh­si­ung and IT511 from Taoyuan to Sin­ga­pore.

It said its other flights on Satur­day will be de­layed by dif­fer­ent lengths of time, rang­ing from 100 min­utes to 12 hours.

The flights to be de­layed are IT200 from Taoyuan to Tokyo Narita; IT201 from Tokyo Narita to Taoyuan; IT210 from Taoyuan to Osaka; IT301 from Taoyuan to Ma­cau; IT302 from Ma­cau to Taoyuan; IT304 from Ma­cau to Taoyuan; IT321 from Kaoh­si­ung to Ma­cau; IT322 from Ma­cau to Kaoh­si­ung; IT507 from Taoyuan to Bangkok; and IT508 from Bangkok to Taoyuan. V Air said flights ZV005 from Taoyuan to Bangkok, ZV006 from Bangkok to Taoyuan and ZV007 from Taoyuan to Bangkok will be de­layed.

ZV005 will de­part at 3:30 p.m., ZV006 will de­part at 7:25 p.m. (Bangkok time) and ZV007 will de­part at 1:20 a.m. Sun­day in­stead.
