Phillips scores 11th, Red Bulls unbeaten streak 6
Bradley Wright- Phillips scored his fifth goal in six games as the New York Red Bulls beat Toronto FC 3- 0 on Saturday night to extend their Major League Soccer unbeaten streak to six games.
Anthony Wallace iced it with a second- half goal and goalkeeper Luis Robles made three saves in setting a franchise record with 26 shutouts. Argentine newcomer Gonzalo Veron scored his first goal as a Red Bull in second- half stoppage to close out the scoring.
New York is within five points of first- place DC United in the Eastern Conference with three games in hand
In Sandy, Utah, Nat Borchers scored in stoppage time to lift Portland past Real Salt Lake.
Borchers headed down Diego Valeri’s corner kick past goalkeeper Nick Rimando. Rimando had conceded the corner with a diving save of Maximiliano Urruti’s right- footed blast from the top of the 18- yard box.
Robbie Keane scored twice to help the Los Angeles Galaxy beat FC Dallas 2- 1.
The winner came in the 55th minute. Keane fed Mexican newcomer Giovani dos Santos into the penalty area. The forward’s first effort was blocked by Dan Kennedy, but dos Santos chipped it far post, where Keane headed it home.

Sporting Kansas City edged the Vancouver Whitecaps 4- 3 thanks to two late goals from Paulo Nagamura.
Nagamura equalized in the 87th minute, finishing Chance Myers’ cross with a laser from behind the area. Nagamura then finished Soni Mustivar’s cross with a glancing header in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
