Cherish water and love Taiwan
To draw international attention to water resource issues, the United Nations marked the years between 2005 and 2015 as the “Water For Life Decade.” We are marking this year the end of the 10-year global campaign and, coincidentally, Taiwan has suffered the worst drought in 67 years this year. With this observation in mind, the Far Eastern Group has launched the “Taiwan Water — Fountain of Life” exhibition to invite the public to “cherish water and love Taiwan!”
The exhibit features sensational displays, including a simulation of real torrential rain and drought that you can experience with an umbrella to make you reflect on the issues related to climate change. Also, a gigantic globe on the third floor highlights water disasters that humanity is now facing.
“Taiwan Water, Fountain of Life” is presented at the FE EcoPark, Taipei Flora Expo Park. It is open between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, as well as
during national holidays.
