Most office workers say they feel stressed, with work as the biggest contributing factor: survey
The majority of office workers in Taiwan are under stress, with work being the biggest source of their pressure, according to a survey released Monday by an online job broker.
The survey by 1111 Job Bank showed that 91 percent of office workers feel stressed, with 59.3 percent identifying their jobs as the source of the problem.
Another 39.8 percent pointed to the state of the domestic economy, while 16.5 percent said a busy lifestyle or time pressures were causing stress.
The sources of work-related stress mentioned by the workers included a lack of prospects, dealing with difficult or incompetent supervisors, racing against time and failing to get a pay hike or promotion for years.
