Data Express promises better iPhone 6s supply

The China Post - - TAIWAN BUSINESS -

Data Express Infotech Co., one of Apple Inc.’ s main distributors in Taiwan, said Wednesday that its initial delivery of iPhone 6s models will be higher than last year’s first shipment of the iPhone 6.

“Our shipment arrival will be a lot more than last year,” Data Express General Manager Andy Tu told a press briefing with regard to his company’s promotions for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, which will hit Taiwan stores Oct. 9.

Since the iPhone 6s models were unveiled Sept. 9, more than 60 percent of Data Express’ customers have expressed interest in buying the new rose-gold color of the big-screen iPhone, Tu said.

To cash in on that strong demand, the company will have 100 units of the rose-gold iPhone 6s and 6s Plus ready for the first sale day at its flagship store in the Syntrend Creative Park in Taipei, Tu said.

Data Express has 43 retail stores and six maintenance centers in Taiwan.

The telecom companies, however, did not announce prices for the new Apple smartphones without a contract, and Apple has not yet announced local pricing for the new devices.
