Physical concerts spring back to life

- — Tatat Bunnag

If you’re someone who misses the old concert experience, you don’t have to wait any longer as local concert promoter Seen Scene Space is back and offering concertgoers the “I’m Fine Thank You Sit Down Please” concert series held every Saturday between July 11 and Aug 1, with a collection of 12 quality Thai indie bands performing on the same stage every week.

“It’s time to leave the online world and come see real and proper concerts, with the new normal atmosphere that allows you to leave some space for social distancing. You’re welcome to dance or headbang from your chair,” announced Seen Scene Space on their official Facebook page. The four-part concert series will take place at Lido Connect Theatre 2 with three selected bands each show, and will be performing two rounds a day at 4pm and 7pm. Each round is limited to 150 seats only.

While tickets are limited, the promoter hasn’t forgotten to give a bonus back to fans by giving away a gift voucher award worth 1,000 baht to whoever comes to this event for four days. The winner can use the voucher as cash to purchase any future Seen Scene Space concert tickets. The voucher will expire at the end of 2022 (except Maho Rasop Festival). Anybody who goes to all four parts of the concert can contact Seen Scene Space directly after Aug 1 and don’t forget to keep evidence to prove you were there. To declare yourself, prepare the following three items.

1. E-ticket tickets for all four events (Take a screenshot of all tickets or send as a pdf file).

2. A picture of your concert wristband that was worn during all four events.

3. A selfie at each show that shows your face clearly with one of the artists performing on stage each day for all four events.

Tickets cost 500 baht (per round per day) available at Ticketmelon.com. For more information on the schedule and seating map for each round, visit facebook.com/SeenSceneSpace.
