FAD PLANS NEW CENTRE

ANG THONG: The Fine Arts Department (FAD) is planning to make a learning centre out of the newly-discovered archaeological site in this Central Plains province.

“Most of the archaeological sites in the Central region are usually 1,500 years old but what we found at Si Bua Thong is estimated to be over 3,000 years old,” FAD director-general Prateep Phengtako said. “That will give us new information on the resettlement of people.”
