Greater Benefits for Employees under Amendment No. 4 to the Social Security Act B. E. 2533
The recently approved Amendment No. 4 to the Social Security Act B. E. 2533 ( Amendment) provides significant improvements to benefits for insured persons. Changes range from an increase in the number of children that are eligible for child welfare compensation to the extension of the period in which the insured person could apply to receive compensation benefits. The Amendment was approved by the National Legislative Assembly on March 5, 2015 and published in the Royal Gazette on June 22, 2015. The Amendment will take effect at the end of October 2015.
