Com­merce Min­istry pro­hibits im­port and ex­port of eight items

The Min­istry of Com­merce is­sued a new no­ti­fi­ca­tion to pro­hibit the im­port or ex­port of eight types of prod­ucts from Thai­land. Ef­fec­tive as of Fe­bru­ary 12, 2016, the prod­ucts in­clude: 1 Coun­ter­feit brand- name prod­ucts; 2. Cas­sette tapes, compact disks, video tapes, com­puter pro­grams, books or other prod­uct that is re­pro­duced by copy­ing or mod­i­fi­ca­tion of third party copy­righted works; 3. Barakus, elec­tronic barakus or elec­tronic cig­a­rettes; 4. Gam­ing ma­chines, both the com­plete sets and with a sig­nif­i­cant char- ac­ter­is­tic of be­ing com­plete sets or parts; 5. Ele­phants; 6. De­ity repli­cas and parts, and Bud­dha repli­cas and parts; 7. An­tiq­ui­ties with rules of ori­gins in for­eign coun­tries; 8. Caf­feine.
