On Jan­uary 25 over 500 lead­ing fig­ures in the travel and tourism in­dus­try packed the In­ter­con­ti­nen­tal Bangkok Grand Ball­room for the fifth Thai­land Tourism Fo­rum, with in­dus­try heavy­weights mostly op­ti­mistic that Thai­land would con­tinue its up­ward spiral in spite of global volatil­ity. The fo­rum was or­ga­nized by the Amer­i­can Cham­ber of Com­merce in Thai­land and C9 Hotel­works to­gether with lead­ing hos­pi­tal­ity and real es­tate in­dus­try firms Jones Lang Lasalle ( JJL), Hor­wath HTL, STR Global Quo and the IHG Ho­tel Group and fea­tured speak­ers from the op­er­a­tional, brand­ing, mar­ket­ing and dig­i­tal sec­tors of lead­ing hos­pi­tal­ity brands.
