As part of AM­CHAM Thai­land’s ef­forts to­ward build­ing a col­lab­o­ra­tive re­la­tion­ship with the Royal Thai Gov­ern­ment and ad­vo­cat­ing for a bet­ter busi­ness en­vi­ron­ment in Thai­land, on April 4 Cham­ber rep­re­sen­ta­tives vis­ited the Min­istry of Trans­port and met with Min­is­ter of Trans­port Khun Arkhom Termpit­taya­paisith. The Min­is­ter and his of­fi­cials pro­vided an up­date on in­fra­struc­ture im­prove­ment plans and projects, while AM­CHAM rep­re­sen­ta­tives of­fered in­put on in­fra­struc­ture bot­tle­necks that af­fect com­merce. Rep­re­sent­ing AM­CHAM were mem­bers of the Trade and In­vest­ment Com­mit­tee: David Nar­done of He­maraj; Mark Kauf­man of Ford Mo­tor Com­pany, and Michael Di­a­mente of Amer­i­can Axle & Man­u­fac­tur­ing, as well as Ex­ec­u­tive Di­rec­tor Judy Benn.
