On June 10, the AMCHAM Thailand Foundation donated Baht 3.5 million to support the English Teaching Assistantship program of the ThailandUnited States Educational Foundation ( TUSEF/ Fulbright Thailand).

The donation will fund more than 20 American English Teaching Assistants to teach English in Thai schools across the country and assist English teachers with curriculum development. The funds have been collected through AMCHAM’S numerous charity fundraising events, such as the sports tournaments, Governors Ball, and Independence Day Picnic. AMCHAM Thailand Foundation Updates Name and Logo The AMCHAM Thailand Charitable Foundation has been supporting education initiatives in Thailand since 2004. However, AMCHAM does not view this support as charity, but rather as an investment in Thailand’s future. In order to reflect these values, the name of the foundation has been changed to the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand Foundation ( ATF) and the logo given a fresh, modern makeover that echoes the cooperation between the U. S. and Thailand.
