On May 12, the committee met at the Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok for a presentation on Innovations in Sustainability for Urban Hotels: Improving Experience, Community Engagement, and the Bottom Line, delivered by Eric Ricaurte, Founder & CEO and Grace Kang, Managing Partner of Greenview. On May 18, the committee met at AMCHAM’S Citi Boardroom to hear about the digital economy, its challenges and opportunities from Adam Schwarz, CEO and Founder of Asia Group Advisors. On May 24 the committee met in AMCHAM’S Citi Boardroom to hear Win Phromphaet, Chief Investment Officer at CIMB- Principal Asset Management, speak about the pending Thai retirement savings shortfall. On May 25, the Young Professionals Committee and friends gathered at Hooters Bangkok for a social networking night and raised Baht 12,900 for the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand Foundation’s ( ATF) Adopt- a- School program. Corporate Social Responsibility ( CSR)

On June 16, the committees met at the JW Marriott Bangkok to hear about ASEAN Regional Connectivity from: Paul Sumner of Pricewaterhousecoopers ( PWC) ABAS; Arthur van der Linden of RMA Group; and Tobias Gruemmer of Rhenus Logistics. On May 27, members gathered at Amari Pattaya for a networking evening hosted by the Netherlands- Thai Chamber of Commerce ( NTCC) and Cancham and held in conjunction with the American, British, German, Mexican, Singaporean, South African and Belgian- Luxembourg chambers of commerce in Thailand. On June 17, members of the foreign chambers gathered at Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya for a networking evening hosted by AMCHAM and held in conjunction with the Australian, British, Dutch, German, Mexican, Singaporean, South African and Belgian- Luxembourg chambers of commerce in Thailand. The attendees mixed and mingled while enjoying food and beverages kindly provided by event sponsors Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya and Wall Street English.
