October Monthly Luncheon and Annual General Meeting
Over 170 members attended the October monthly luncheon and Annual General Meeting on October 19 at the Conrad Bangkok Hotel. Members gathered to cast their votes in the 2017 Board of Governors election. Seven out of the 11 candidates were voted in ( in no particular order): 1. Nygaard, Senior Vice President, Global Operations, Seagate Technology The luncheon speaker was U. S. Ambassador Glyn Davies, who spoke about the legacy of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, his strong ties with the United States, and the respect and admiration His Majesty enjoyed worldwide. Prior to the proceedings the attendees observed a 90- second silence in honor of His Majesty the King.
