On August 23, AMCHAM hosted a round- table discussion with Center for Disease Control ( CDC) Foundation CEO Judy Monroe to explore the possibility of public- private partnerships and how the Foundation can work with the private sector to support CDC’S work in Thailand. Joint Chambers Chiang Mai Connect Networking
On August 29, the Netherlands- Thai Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with AMCHAM and the Australian, British, French, Italian, German, Singaporean, South African, Swedish, Turkish and Belgian- Luxembourg chambers and the European Association of Business and Commerce ( EABC) held a networking event for members based in Chiang Mai at the SIPA CoWorking Space. Eastern Seaboard Networking
On August 25 members of the foreign chambers of commerce gathered at Siam@ Siam Design Hotel Pattaya for a networking hosted by the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand ( BCCT) in conjunction with AMCHAM and other foreign chambers of commerce. The event was sponsored by Siam@ Siam Design Hotel Pattaya, Axel Electronics, Rugby School Thailand and General Outsourcing ( go).
On August 31, the Young Professionals Committee teamed up with the Australian, British, and Dutch chambers for a speed networking event at Na Chalong Eatery & Café and raised Baht 19,350 for the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand Foundation ( ATF) Adopt- a- School program.
