Get ready for the 19th Bangkok In­ter­na­tional Fes­ti­val of Dance and Mu­sic and savour in­ter­na­tional de­lights at the 18th World Gourmet Fes­ti­val

ndulge in the mar­velously cre­ative world of the per­form­ing arts as the Bangkok In­ter­na­tional Fes­ti­val of Dance and Mu­sic re­turns for its 19th year com­bin­ing world rhythms in a va­ri­ety of cap­ti­vat­ing per­for­mances. As al­ways, the fes­ti­val boasts a col­lec­tion of world-class acts, from bal­let troupes and Broad­way per­form­ers to opera singers and sym­phony or­ches­tras. Fea­tured this year are the Eka­ter­in­burg Opera and Bal­let The­atre (Moscow); Ma­landain Bal­let Biar­ritz (France) and the Stuttgart Bal­let (Ger­many) among oth­ers. Mak­ing its world pre­mier is a brand new bal­let chore­ographed by Vasily Medvedev of the Bol­shoi The­atre, Katya & The Prince of Siam, the ro­man­tic tale of Prince Chakrabongse and a beau­ti­ful Rus­sian girl. Also on the bill is a pro­duc­tion of Broad­way hit West Side Story and an ac­ro­batic per­for­mance by the Fly­ing Su­perkids.
