Karmakamet Conveyance serves up history on a plate

Thailand Tatler - - CONCIERGE -

Karmakamet conveyance brings a one-of-a-kind culinary experience that combines food and history together at Lhong 1919, a heritage venue founded in 1850 on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Chef Juthamas Theantae will be serving up a meal that evokes memories of times gone by and promises to convey diners on journeys of new discovery. Juthamas, whose other restaurant, Karmakamet Diner in Sukhumvit, creates food that revolves around Western culture shifting to the Eastern part of the world. With Karmakamet Conveyance, the dishes are inspired by the notion of heritage and aim to evoke a recollection of places and times in the diner’s life. The seven-course menu is priced at 2,500++ baht with an additional 1,800++ baht for wine pairing. Call 0-2116-3990 for more.
