Sunday brunch at the Plaza Athenee Bangkok’s Rain Tree Cafe features grilled lobster, oysters from around the world, caviar, Peking duck, Australian beef ribs and lamb, baked salmon, pasta and Thai desserts including the cafe’s famous triple-flavour sticky rice with mango, waffle station, crepe suzette and chocolate lava.
From the a-la-carte menu come scrambled eggs with truffle, poached egg with carbonara espuma, pan-seared foie gras and scallops, beef burgers with Roquefort cheese and Japanese tempura.
You can sit in the Bronze Kitchen, Valaya Room or Secret Garden and relax from noon to 3.30.
