Sun­day brunch at the Plaza Athe­nee Bangkok’s Rain Tree Cafe fea­tures grilled lob­ster, oys­ters from around the world, caviar, Peking duck, Aus­tralian beef ribs and lamb, baked salmon, pasta and Thai desserts in­clud­ing the cafe’s fa­mous triple-flavour sticky rice with mango, waf­fle sta­tion, crepe suzette and choco­late lava.

From the a-la-carte menu come scram­bled eggs with truf­fle, poached egg with carbonara es­puma, pan-seared foie gras and scal­lops, beef burg­ers with Ro­que­fort cheese and Ja­panese tem­pura.

You can sit in the Bronze Kitchen, Valaya Room or Se­cret Gar­den and re­lax from noon to 3.30.
