RAKI’S GLOBALIZATION JOURNEY
We currently have a presence in 55 counties. We are entering new markets and strengthening our distribution network. We are expanding our hinterland through activities such as promotional and taste events in existing markets. We spend an advertising budget of around TL 3-4 million on global markets. Rakı, which was the 16th most consumed alcoholic drink in the world, has now risen to 13th. We need 10 years to make rakı a global brand. If we are able to continue this momentum then we shall double our exports in the next three years. We shall increase the number of rakı consumers from 10 million to 20 million.
