Lis­ten, dance and work at youth fes­ti­val

ONE of the great­est youth fes­ti­vals in the coun­try, “My Fes­ti­val” will make those un­der 21 ex­pe­ri­ence an un­for­get­table day with singers and bands such as Du­man, Büyük Ev Ablukada, Flört, Son Feci Bisik­let, Hayat Meyal and An­sızın Bi’İn­fi­lak on Sun­day, Sept. 17.

“My Fes­ti­val” aims to pro­vide ex­pe­ri­ences and skills to high school youth and ex­hil­a­rate at­ten­dees with many unique stage per­for­mances. The fes­ti­val, which will be or­ga­nized at Küçükçift­lik Park, will of­fer day­long work­shops, in­ter­views with sec­tor pro­fes­sion­als, in­no­va­tive tech­no­log­i­cal ac­tiv­i­ties, sports ac­tiv­i­ties and so­cial re­spon­si­bil­ity projects.

Du­man, one of the most pop­u­lar Turk­ish bands, Büyük Ev Ablukada with their “Fırtı­nayt” series com­pris­ing of elec­tronic el­e­ments, Flört, a fes­ti­val fa­vorite with their retro sounds, Son Feci Bisik­let, one of the rep­re­sen­ta­tives of new gen­er­a­tion al­ter­na­tive mu­sic, Hayat Meyal, the brand-new band of al­ter­na­tive rock and An­sızın Bi’ İn­fi­lak, which gained fame quickly for their songs, will per­form.

YouTube phe­nom­e­non “Mösyö Taha” will hold a wand-mak­ing work­shop and a pri­vate sur­prise for My Fes­ti­val, in which the youth will spend a col­or­ful day with so­cial re­spon­si­bil­ity projects, in­ter­views in tech­nol­ogy, sports, cul­ture and art sta­tions and work­shops. Known for the char­ac­ter Kötü Kedi Şer­afet­tin, Bü­lent Üstün will meet the youth for in­ter­views. Par­tic­i­pants can also gain ex­pe­ri­ences from the vir­tual re­al­ity play area, work­shops for note­book and flag mak­ing, and per­ma­cul­ture work­shops.

The fes­ti­val will be pre­sented by İbrahim Se­lim, who is the pre­sen­ter of Stolk pro­gram, a pop­u­lar Youtube chan­nel.

Küçükçift­lik Park, which has been used as a pic­nic area, casino and amuse­ment park since the 17th cen­tury, is a fully-equipped cul­ture, art and en­ter­tain­ment cen­ter now. Hav­ing hosted many world fa­mous artists such as Ste­vie Won­der, Por­tishead, Neil Young, Tony Ben­nett, Faith No More, Faith­less, Lana Del Rey, El­ton John, Scor­pi­ons, Fat­boy Slim, Iron Maiden, Deep Pur­ple, Dark­side and David Guetta, Küçükçift­lik Park hosts many fes­ti­vals along with con­certs, and it sup­ports in­sti­tu­tional events, ex­hi­bi­tions, de­sign­shop­ping events and so­cial re­spon­si­bil­ity projects. Hav­ing the big­gest stage in Turkey, Küçükçift­lik Park tries to raise event ex­pe­ri­ences with its 17,000-per­son-ca­pac­ity main area along with its 2000-square-me­ter gar­den.
