THE TRUMP Art Gallery in Istanbul is currently hosting “Red Reflections,” a solo painting exhibition by artist and musician Gamze Lim.

Lim’s works are examples of abstract expressionism with a focus on passions concerning the life itself. The exhibition will be open until Oct. 31.

Also a musician, Lim has worked with famous Turkish composer Melih Kibar in a number of jingles and music for TV series and films.

She transforms her inner energy into artworks, which she creates with her mystical side and feelings. She has an abstract expressionist style.

Painting is something she has been interested in since early an age. Lim renders the energy and the soul of colors. The color, red, on the other hand, is noticeably used in her works and is acknowledged as the color of passion by Lim. The artist exposes the positive and negative effects passion has on life and invites observers to explore their own inner worlds.

Curated by Kenan Bahadır Derre, the exhibition “Red Reflections” at the Trump Art Gallery, on floor B3 of Trump Towers Mall, Istanbul, will continue until Oct. 31.
