Fine for tram light jump
A man has been fined Dhs3,000 after driving through a red light at a tram interchange in Dubai. He has also been banned from driving for a month. Prosecutor Salah Bu Farousha Al Felasi, head of Dubai Traffic Prosecution, said that the incident happened on Al Sufouh Road interchange in January. He said the penalty for driving through a red light at a tram interchange is between Dhs2,0005,000 and the cancellation of the driving licence is from between a month to three months. Bu Farousha urged motorists to be extra careful when driving on roads beside Dubai Tram.
