Expansion plan for Al Maktoum airport

7 Days in Dubai - - DEAR 7DAYS... -

“Expansion of Al Maktoum Airport is the right decision. Dubai Airport should be removed as it is dangerous and noisy to be in the middle of the city with air traffic increasing every 5 years.”

NAWAF ABU GHAZALEH

“The administration in Dubai is making all efforts in making the city smart and people happy. There is Wi-Fi everywhere from bus stations to beaches. But the quality of free Wi-Fi services provided inside Airport terminals (Terminal 3) are very poor. The connection speed is very low and most of the times cannot be connected with the network. This might be due to the usage of data by large number of passengers at a time. Technology should be upgraded to an optimum level taking into consideration the presence of average passengers at any given time. Internet connection is a source of communication with rest of the world, especially for passengers on transit. The facilities provided at the busiest airport in the world should be at a level which others cannot be matched. So sir, my humble suggestion here is to upgrade the Wi-Fi facility to match with the number of users within the vicinity of each of the access points.”
