Ruler checks on progress of Dubai theme parks

Dubai Parks and Re­sorts, soon to be the Mid­dle East’s largest theme park, is close to 90 per cent com­plete and on tar­get for com­ple­tion in Oc­to­ber. An up­date on the progress was re­leased as HH Sheikh Mo­hammed bin Rashid Al Mak­toum, Vice Pres­i­dent and Prime Min­is­ter and Ruler of Dubai, toured the site yes­ter­day. Chair­man of Dubai Parks and Re­sorts Ab­dulla Al Hab­bai said the project is set to open in Oc­to­ber 2016 as 88 per cent of the con­struc­tion work and 70 per cent of util­i­ties in­fras­truc­ture is com­pleted. The project in­cludes the Hol­ly­wood-in­spired theme park Mo­tion­gate, Dubai Bol­ly­wood Parks and Le­goland
