Cloudy days fore­cast with ris­ing hu­mid­ity and heat

The Na­tional Cen­tre for Me­te­o­rol­ogy and Seis­mol­ogy (NCMS) has said the fore­cast for the next 48 hours is ex­pected to be fair to partly cloudy, with clouds in­creas­ing in the west of the country, with a chance of light rain dur­ing the day­time. The weather cen­tre also said to ex­pect mod­er­ate winds in gen­eral, which may freshen at times, caus­ing blow­ing dust and sand over ex­posed ar­eas. Winds will be south­west­erly to north­west­erly, 15-25kph over land and 18-28kph over sea, reach­ing 38kph at times, it added. The NCMS out­look is for fair to partly cloudy weather, with light to mod­er­ate winds. Rel­a­tive hu­mid­ity is likely to in­crease dur­ing the night and early morn­ing over some coastal ar­eas. Yes­ter­day af­ter­noon, global fore­caster Ac­cuWeather placed the tem­per­a­ture at 31C in Dubai and 33C in Abu Dhabi. This is fore­cast to rise to 38C in Dubai this week­end and 40C in Abu Dhabi.
