Dust and rain are pre­dicted

More clouds and slight rain­fall are ex­pected this week across the UAE, caus­ing blow­ing dust and sand with poor vis­i­bil­ity, the Na­tional Cen­tre for Me­te­o­rol­ogy and Seis­mol­ogy has said. Mo­torists have been warned to take pre­cau­tions while driv­ing. “The weather for the fol­low­ing days is look­ing to be cloudy in gen­eral and hazy over most in­ter­nal and coastal ar­eas,” a me­te­o­rol­o­gist said. “Tem­per­a­tures are ex­pected drop by one or two de­grees as the amount of clouds in­crease in the cities and may de­velop to tow­er­ing clouds at times with the chance of some light rain fall.” Hu­mid­ity lev­els are ex­pected to go up to 90 per cent dur­ing late nights and early morn­ings. Abu Dhabi will see highs of 38C to­day with lows of 26C, while Dubai is ex­pected to see highs of 36C and lows of 27C. A fur­ther drop in tem­per­a­ture is ex­pected to­mor­row with Abu Dhabi and Dubai see­ing highs of 32C and 36C.
