Trubridge sets new freediving world record
112New Zealander William Trubridge has set a new freediving world record - plunging 122m into the famous blue hole in the Bahamas. It is the 16th time he has set a world mark, beating his own record of 121m. The latest dive saw Trubridge hold his breath for four minutes and 24 seconds. He said the dive was “pretty difficult” and the ascent was “terrible”.
