Brother demands death
Sharjah Criminal Court has adjourned a hearing into the case of the two housemaids who strangled a 43-year-old driver to death after discovering that he had a relationship with both of them to May 25. The victim’s brother attended the trial hearing yesterday. He refused to accept blood money and demanded the execution of the Indonesian and Filipina maids. The brother, in his 50s, told 7DAYS: “I can’t believe that I will never see or hear my brother again. The two women should receive capital punishment. My mother and sister back home are shattered.” Both defendants admitted the crime and asked the judge to deliver a sentence.
