Sauber to miss F1 testing in Barca
The financially struggling Sauber team will miss the first in-season test in Barcelona later this month. The Swiss team said they did not have a car update nor a test driver who meets the requirements. F1 regulations state that teams must allocate at least two of the four in-season test days to young drivers. Sauber were the last team to test their 2016 car before the season started and confirmed recently that monthly salaries were paid late in February and March.
