Eti­had ex­ec­u­tive lands top job

Eti­had Air­ways CEO and Pres­i­dent James Ho­gan has been given a pro­mo­tion. Ho­gan, who has served in his cur­rent role since Septem­ber 2006, has been ap­pointed Eti­had Avi­a­tion Group Pres­i­dent and Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer. Mo­hamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, the group chair­man, said: “Eti­had Air­ways has been steadily evolv­ing into the Eti­had Avi­a­tion Group for a num­ber of years. This has been driven by the for­ma­tion of new com­pa­nies, in­clud­ing Eti­had Air­ways Engi­neer­ing, Eti­had Global Cargo Man­age­ment Com­pany... and Eti­had Air­port Ser­vices.” Peter Baum­gart­ner will take on the role of Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer of Eti­had Air­ways. He joined the air­line in April 2005 from Swiss In­ter­na­tional Air Lines.
